Brief self-exercise education for adults with chronic knee pain: A randomized controlled trial
The study evaluated two methods for managing chronic knee pain: one group received only educational materials, while the other group received both materials and additional therapist-led sessions to teach and guide exercises. The group with therapist-led sessions showed greater improvements in knee function, self-efficacy, and satisfaction, highlighting the benefit of understanding how and which exercises to perform, which supports effective self-management of chronic knee pain.
